Such an important article and discussion for the human race to start having. At what point do we finally recognize that our unregulated population growth will ultimately be our own demise? Far too many unwanted children are brought into this world without the necessary resources to properly care for them. Hopefully with Obama's presidency and the lifting of the Global Gag rule, we'll start to see more family planning and consequently a responsible approach to population growth.
As the author says, "Solutions do not spring from silence." I hope a dialog will start here on the pages of The WIP where we can share our ideas and challenge the taboo of discussing this critical issue.
