Farewell to Aimé Césaire, bard of black consciousness

PARIS (FRANCE 24) French Caribbean writer Aimé Césaire has died aged 94. One of the founding fathers of the 'Negritude' movement that celebrated black consciousness, he was a prominent figure in the French overseas department of Martinique.
