Very interesting addition to the byline portal. I am a reader from the U.S. I very much enjoyed "watching" the column Elections in America: The French perspective. Yes, unfortunately elections in the U.S. are all about money. Every four years we make a selection from the best candidates money can buy. The projected cost of the 2008 election at 8 billion dollars is particularly embarassing. I would need a great deal more information to conclude whether in France, where the personal and the political rarely tango as they do here, has a better electoral system. They certainly don't cost as much!
P.S. was she reporting from a bar? Very unique journalism. I loved it!
