Because the developers and landowners of Southern California don't listen to the environmental impact reports, because the developers and landowners don't get charged for adequate fire protection, we can look forward to another article, saying exactly the same thing in another 10 years.

This is an issue for California's governor to sink his teeth into. Perhaps his wife would be a good starting point. I hope The WIP has a good long list of politicos and staff to e-mail important stories to them.

Wouldn't it be more effective for The WIP readers to email the important stories to "politicos and staff?" I really appreciate the news service The WIP is providing and often feel "if only" our elected officials were reading this too. So, let's start. Email those on your long list.
