This article recalls to me the review by Kate Daniels in the Economy section on April 16th of Riane Eisler's "The Real Wealth of Nations: Creativing a Caring Economy."
I would also put forth along these lines, for anyone interested in these issues, US economist Nancy Folbre's work called "The Invisible Heart", which deals with economics and family matters.
