Desertification – an Invisible Cancer

"It is a process of degradation that does not manifest itself in spectacular ways but furtively advances, and by the time it is visible there is nothing to be done, and people have to move away, in search of an alternative."

Another set of scary and sad statistics on a global environmental problem--desertification and food supply-- and the impact of climate change. Thanks for this and similar links. With more and more of this information published, maybe we will all worry more about our planet and less about terrorism.
